Fralbo Napoli Men's Shirts
Anna Barone was born in San Giuseppe Vesuviano in February 1913, the daughter of a seamstress, and she was immediately inspired to follow in her mother's footsteps. Her great passion for shirt-making led her to open a custom-made shirt store at the age of 20 in 1933. Anna was devoted to perfecting the fit of her shirts, believing them to be like a second skin. Her daughter Clelia, also an adept seamstress, shared her passion with her two sons, Francesco and Alessandro, teaching them her instructions and secrets. The two brothers continued the family tradition, creating a small craft workshop focused on blending traditional techniques with advanced technology. This resulted in the birth of the brand FRALBO, an acronym for Francesco and Alessandro Boccia.
The goal of Francesco and Alessandro was to recreate the shirt of their grandmother Anna, with study, research, and dedication to work, as well as the highest quality fabrics and hand-cut designs to achieve a symmetrical, handcrafted shirt. Great attention was paid to the inner details, collars, and cuffs, which were made non-deformable through a special technique that eliminates the use of glue. Everything was expertly hand-sewn to achieve a result of harmony, comfort, and quality that is not often seen in modern shirts.
