The Finamore history dates back to 1925 when Carolina Finamore opened the very first workshop of her career in Naples, Italy. She then passed her skills to her son Alberto Finamore who takes this workshop to next level by converting it into a high-end Italian fashion brand. Today this family business is handed over to the 3rd generation and it is developed into the world's renowned luxurious shirt brand.

Manufacturing Finamore shirts

Finamore shirts are still sewn with the hands just like in old times when there were no machines to do so. These handmade shirts are sewn to provide the right reinforcement to the most delicate points like sleeve joist and buttonholes. The armhole is also hand-sewn to give the shirt a special sheer giving it ideal fit and softness. The collar is also attached by hands which enhances the grace of the shirt when it is worn. The Finamore shirts have special kinds of wrinkles on their sleeves which are a gem to this tailored garment.
