'Batavia' is a fabric that has a twill effect predominantly on one side, but a plain effect on the other, giving an armoured effect. It has a directional pile achieved by brushing during the production process, that makes the fabric very soft to the touch. Used for this pair of Incotex, it makes this white trousers light-weight, but not too transparant.
